1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using BovineFlow ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and RMarinCompany ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
BovineFlow is a mobile application for cattle management, including heat cycle tracking, breeding records, and herd health management. The App runs locally on your Android or iOS device. Features include logging heat signs, predicting heat cycles, scheduling local notifications, managing cattle profiles, and storing farm records. The App is provided for personal and commercial agricultural use.
3. Free Service
BovineFlow is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features or subscriptions in the future with advance notice. Your continued access to existing free features will not be removed without notice. We may also discontinue or modify the App at any time.
4. User Obligations and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) create derivative works of the App; (c) remove any proprietary notices; (d) use the App in any way that could impair it; or (e) attempt unauthorized access to the App or its systems. You are responsible for the security of your device and all activity through your use of the App.
5. Data Storage and Privacy
All cattle records, photos, and farm data you enter are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or have access to your cattle records. Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy at https://bovineflow.com/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
6. Diagnostics and Notifications
The App uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and technical diagnostics to improve reliability. This data includes crash stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and Firebase installation identifiers. Heat reminders are delivered through the operating system's local notification scheduler and do not require internet access. You may disable notifications through your device settings.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all related content, code, design, and graphics are owned by RMarinCompany and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the App as described herein. "BovineFlow" and the BovineFlow logo are trademarks of RMarinCompany.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. HEAT CYCLE AND CALVING PREDICTIONS ARE ESTIMATES AND NOT PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY ADVICE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RMARINCOMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.
9. Age Restrictions
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly permit use by children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App, contact us at rmarincompany@gmail.com.
10. Termination and Uninstallation
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling removes locally stored records from the App database on your device, though data may persist in device backups. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections 7, 8, 11, and 14 survive any termination.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will first be addressed by contacting us at rmarincompany@gmail.com. If unresolved informally, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Colombian courts. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App, app-store listing, or the BovineFlow website. Updated Terms are effective as of the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. App Store and Google Play Terms
If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store, Apple's App Store Terms of Service also apply. If you obtained it through Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the App. In any conflict, app-store terms govern your relationship with Apple or Google.
